1128. OMAR N. BRADLEY (1893-1981) American general of World War II who commanded the largest ground force ever led by one man. He was later Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. I.S.P. 8" x 10" sepia, a fine Fabian Bachrach portrait of Bradley shown seated in full dress uniform, inscribed to Colonel James Howard. Some moderate silvering, a few minor toned pots, otherwise near fine. Together with MATTHEW B. RIDGEWAY and JAMES M. GAVIN, their signatures on a 10" x 8" b/w (later) photograph of the two during the war. Fine. Together, two pieces. $150 - 200
