Each document is 1p. folio, Dec. 8, 1798 and mentions the name of the Bonne Homme Richard, the crewman's name, and other particulars. Severe chipping with repaired fold splits, one chip affecting vessel's name on one document; still any official mention of this famous vessel is uncommon.
