Description:

"BLACK PROPAGANDA" - GERMAN WOMEN TO BE MOBILIZED
Very harsh but effective late-war propaganda, 2pp. 8vo., seeking to terrorize the retreating German armies. In part: "...TOTAL MOBILIZATION!...A man dies at the front, and a woman dies under the rubble...there is still room in the cemetaries...women get ready to make grenades...family life has to end...children have learned how to get by without their fathers...will now learn to get along without their mothers...The Italians, Romanians and Hungarians with the last vacation tickets home...Foreigners come in!...In the war factories, there are colorful rows of German women and girls for entertainment...The housing question is solved...why should there be empty beds next to the women?...Himmler''s army proved itself behind the front as great [service evader] hunters..." At top, a recipient has written in ink: "Enemy Propaganda!" Very good. From an extensive collection of military propaganda first gathered in the 1960''s by an East Coast professional.
