579. DAVID BEN-GURION (1886 - 1973) Israeli politician, proclaimed the independence of Israel in 1948, headed the provisional government, and was later Prime Minister. Superb oversized S.P. 30" x 24" color, a powerful artist's rendering of Ben-Gurion showing him in a khaki shirt from, the chest, up with the Israeli flag waving in the background, with desert, clouds and mountains in the far background. In the white bottom margin Ben-Gurion has added a large, 5" long pencil signature. This is a limited print, no. 311/500 in (dinged) gold wood frame. Very fine condition. $300 - 400
