Ornate D.S., 1p. 4to., Berlin, September, 1938, an invitation to Reichs Leader Philipp Bouhler to attend the Golden Anniversary of the Hitler Youth, boldly signed at bottom. One horizontal fold, with a light stain at lower-left, else very good. Philipp Bouhler (1889-1945) was a Nazi war criminal who supervised Hitler's euthanasia program which ordered the "mercy killings" of thousands of retarded, deformed and mentally ill Germans. With his wife he committed suicide as Americans closed in.
