BALDUR VON SCHIRACH
(1907 - 1974) Nazi leader of the Hitler Youth and Gauleiter of Vienna, sentenced at Nuremburg to twenty years for war crimes. A.L.S. "Baldur" on his monogram correspondence card, 2pp. 12mo., [n.p.], Aug. 30, 1968 to a friend in English. Von Schirach thanks the man for sending dog biscuits and "the enormous supply of tobacco". He also comments on an interview given to Robert Frost and mentions a trip to Italy. Fine.
