Description:

Badfinger Concert Posters & Signed Photo (3)
The Welsh quartet, who signed with The Beatles Apple Records in 1968 as The Iveys, first achieved chart success with the Paul McCartney-penned "Come and Get It" in 1970. Just a few months prior to their Apr. 14, 1971 appearance in Fond du Loc, they scored their second hit single with bandleader Pete Ham's (d.1975), "No Matter What." Badfinger concert posters from their peak period of popularity in the 1970's are very scarce; this one measures 11" x 14", a cardboard example exhibiting a small brown blemish, otherwise EX. The 14" x 22" poster, which dates from a club gig in 1982 at The Rose in Arnold, Mo., is signed in blue ballpoint pen by original members Mike Gibbins and Tom Evans (d. 1983). Also included is a 5" x 7" publicity photo from 1981 signed in blue ballpoint pen by original member Joey Molland. Three pieces.
