[ Autographs ] (WORLD WAR II ERA BAD TASTE GREETING CARDS) Unusual lot of approximately 75 greeting and post cards, many in color ca. 1940-1955 comprising some of the most juvenile gags ever to deface paper, including the usual third-grade fare including bathroom, bra, underwear and sex jokes. Most are only thinly veiled references, probably written in a manner to be overlooked by postal inspectors. Most cards bear mounting traces on verso, otherwise very good condition. A real knee-slapper.
