She truly feels that she `ought to rejoice'. It is for them on [illeg] the fighting & struggling & alas! So often living as if there was no otherWorld, that we ought to [illeg.] pray. Her beloved Sister passed away in Sleep. Having spoken so kindly of her The Queen desired for [name illeg.] perusal the translations of two letters from the Empress Queenof Germany, this Queen very kind friend & [illeg] of the...Lady Aug. Stanley who writes the Queen has been at [illeg.] service...May the Queen's...have a copy of this fine & comforting sermon..." A few marginal tape stains, otherwise very good.
