[ Autographs ] (Revolutionary Officers Elected) Interesting manuscript document, 1p. 8vo., "South Parish of Dedham' [Ma.], n.d. but ca. 1776 A Dedham militia group has met '...and made choice of the following gentlemen for the Officers... " Eight officers are chosen including a captain, lieutenant, and so on. Even more interesting is the reference to the ages of the militiamen '...severalof who are 70 years of age..." Light toning, otherwise very good.
