Huge, most impressive S.P., 19in x 25in silver print of the seated Pope in robes, etc., by G. Felici, Rome. In the 19in x I 1in white bottom border area are nine neatly calligrified lines, an "Apostolicam Benedictionem" to Rev. Benedictus Przemielewski of Baltimore, October 4, 1927 Surrounding the calligraphy are hand-colored leaves, flowers, and religious symbols, making the piece look much like an illuminated manuscript. Boldly signed as Pope "Pius Pp. Xi" to the right of his personal, blind embossed seal. Matted and set in an antique frame.
