[ Autographs ] NEW ENGLAND SLAVE BIRTH REGISTER A most uncommon manuscript document recording the births of six slaves in Vernon, NewYork, 1803-1818, 10pp. 8vo., headed "Record of Slaves in Vernon". The entries record the dates of birth, the sex of the child, the parents, and the slaves' owner. Each entry has also been certified by the Town Clerk. Folds with paper covers detached, otherwise very good.
