[ Autographs ] LOU GEHRIG (1903 - 1941) Baseball Hall of Famer and certainly one of the greatest players of all time. His 2,130 consecutive games played remained unbeaten for over fifty years. D.S. 4pp. 8vo., the menu for a testimonial dinner held for Gehrig in New York on April 14, 1935. The cover shows a Robert Ripley drawing of Gehrig swinging away, boldly signed in pencil by Gehrig, also signed by EARLE COMBS and GRANTLAND RICE. Others unidentified by us have signed the verso of the last page. One vertical fold, two small stainsat upper-right and mid-center, generally good to very good.
