His administration much improved the nation's welfare, but was marred by graft and corruption. Partly printed D.S., "Juan Peron" 2pp. folio, Buenos Aires, July 24, 1950, to the President of Peru, a beautiful calligraphic document withhand-painted accents in Spanish. Peron sends regrets that he cannot attend his contemporary's inauguration, but states that the delicate international situation at present prevents his leaving the country. Boldly signed in black ink. Slight bleeding to the signature, and minor soiling with a few foxed spots to the first page, otherwise verygood. A fine example.
