Superb content T.L.S. 1p. 4to on Justice Department letterhead, Washington, Apr. 18, 1906 to Charles Bruce in Boston. Mosby accepts an invitation to a dinner, adding a proviso: "...I shall not be expected to do any speechmaking. I have neither taste, nor talent, for that sort of thing..." he concludes with a statement that forty years earlier would have had him shot: " '..No man cherishes General Grant's memory with more affection than I do, and it is always a pleasure to me to testify to the nobility of his character...
