"John Morton Speaker" as Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, 9pp. folio, April 5, 1776. An Act of Legislature "...confirming the estate of Andrew Hershey in and to certain lands in the Township of Donnegall in the County of Lancaster..." Co-signed by JOHN PENN (1729 - 1795) Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania and grandson of William Penn. Folds and slight separations along them, some marginal chips, else boldly signed and good. Sold with a partial wafer seal attached with pink ribbon.
