[ Autographs ] (JAPANESE WAR CRIMINALS) A rare Japanese 100 yen banknote signed in English characters on both side of the note by about twenty of Japan's most notorious World War II war criminals, many of whom were sentenced to death or long terms in prison. Among those signing are HIDEKI TOJO, SHIGENO TOGO, HIROSHI OSHIMA, KINGORO HASHIMOTO, KOICHI KIDO, KENRYO SATO, AKIRA MUTO, KUCHIRA HIRANUMA, TEICHI SUZUKI, TOSHIRU SHITAORI, KUNICHI KOISO, SADAO ARAKI, KOKI HIROTA, SHUNROKU HATA, AKIRA MUTO, JIRO MINAMI and others. Folds, otherwise very good condition. Unlike those of their Nuremberg counterparts, the signatures of the Japanese war criminals are exceedingly difficult to obtain.
