Description:

[ Autographs ] JACK WARNER (1892 - 1978) American film executive and a founder and president of Warner Brothers Studios in Hollywood. Goodcontent T.L.S. "Jack" in his letterhead, 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Sep. 17, 1968 to director Josh Logan. Warner pens an angry letter concerning anarticle "Should Directors Produce" in the Screen Directors Guild Magazine. In part: "...I think this is shameful, distasteful, disgusting and a disservice to our industry. I wonder if Alan Jay Lerner is really doing everything you say he is doing...the one to a thousand things I did as producer of CAMELOT have been forgotten. I insist you write a letter...and refute the statements attributed to you as this is a real shocker..." Very good.
