[ Autographs ] (HIMMLER CONDEMNS KURT LEUDECKE) A highly unusual document, 1p. folio, Berlin, July, 1934, in which Himmler approves a statement condemning the activities of one time close Hitler associateKurt Leudicke. Leudicke was a close associate of Hitler's during the 1920s, and traveled extensively in the United States and Italy attempting to raise money for the Nazi Party. As time went on, he became increasingly disillusioned, and was eventually interned in the Oranienburg Concentration Camp. With the help of Ernst Roehm, he escaped to the United States. This document, commenting directly on Leudecke's activities , reads in part: "...as to the person Leudecke, I suspect him of being a soldier in the service of the Freemasons... and participating in the continuing international Jewish confidence games. While in the People's Movement, he was no different, wherein hecontinually attempted to directly lead the Fuhrer in a false direction..practicing sabotage...". Himmler dates the document in his typical green grease pencil at bottom. Punch holes at left margin from filing, otherwise very good.
