Scarce manuscript L.S. as President, 2pp. sm. folio, Washington, Mar. 7, 1894, a letter of state sent to Gen. Don J. Santos Zelaya, President of Nicaragua congratulating his "Great and Good Friend" uponhis inauguration to serve as President of Nicaragua and expressing hishope for the continuance of good relations between their two countries Co-signed by WALTER Q. GRESHAM as Secretary of State. Two small marginal tape stains away from text, otherwise very good.
