[ Autographs ] George Herman "Babe" Ruth 1895-1948 Legendary American baseball star and Hall of Famer who hit 60 homer runs in 1927 and had a career total of 714 A fine Official American League baseball boldly signed "Babe Ruth" in dark blue ink on the sweet spot The ball is only slightly soiled and retains a generally even cream color. In another hand is written an inscription far from the signature, and this could with some be removed. There is a slightly toned spot between Ruth's first and last name which does not detract to any great extent. Overall, a fine Ruth signed ball.
