"Mr. Gerry" in the text, 1p. 8vo., Cambridge, Aug. 27, 1793, in part: "...Mr. Gerry requests Mr. Robinson to send by the earliest opportunity half of the gross of the porter [beer] which was paid for last winter. The last was very indifferent & badly bottled, a sixth part was broken on its passage..." In rough shape, with a glue stain at top, fold repairs andmarginal dampstaining, yet still quite presentable.
