[ Autographs ] [EDWARD III] (1312 - 1377) King of England who was forced to recognize the independence of Scotland, later executed Roger Mortimer and invaded Scotland, involved England in the Hundred Years' War and sacked Calais and cities in Normandy, eventually ruinedpublic finances with his ambitious military efforts. Document from hisreign, unsigned , 4.5 x 8.75, [n.p.], March 15, 1332, a deed whereby William Foray grants to Herrick de Keen and his wife four acres of land in the district of Worthing. With a nineteenth century transcription, some soiling, very good.
