[ Autographs ] (Confederate Draft) An interesting draft-related A.D.S., 2pp. 8vo., Carroll Co., Dec. 4, 1863 in which a justice of the peace certifies that the draftee: "Leroy Spencer, about 46 or 7 years ago [was] larg enuff to go to scool..' This would put the man's age at over fifty and make him exempt. With a related document stating the same. some show-through of ink from verso, otherwise very good.
