"Kate Greenaway" 1p. 8vo., Hollasay, Nov. 5, 1884, to Charles Morley declining his request for information about her artistic career. In part: "...Still I am deeply grateful for the honor and service you would do me, but indeed I have been asked to give the same information many times and have always refused...". Floated on a cream mat and attractively framed in a gilt frame with a portrait of Greenaway in her studio. Light overall wear,otherwise good, not examined out of frame.
