[ Autographs ] CAMILLE PISSARRO (1830 - 1903) French painter and contemporary of Monet, identified with the Impressionists and later with pointillism. A.L.S. "C. Pissarro" on the verso of a postcard, Rouen, July 26, 1898 to P. Contet. Pissarro pens his letter beside an attractive photograph of the Pont Boieldieu in Rouen, stating that he does not have the "Veri-Vero[?]", and mentions that he is still awaiting the man's remittance. An appealing item, light soiling, otherwise very good.
