Forces, South of Red River, Brasier City, La., June 25, 1863, a partly-printed Confederate parole for a Union soldier issued to Henry F. Bronson, First Sergeant Co. A, 23rd Conn. Vols., in which Bronson pledges: "...I will not take up arms against the Confederate States, or their allies, nor in any manner whatsoever aid, assist, or abet the Government of the United States..."Fine condition.
