[ Autographs ] Ben McCulloch 1811-1862 Confederate brigadier general who organized pro-Confederacy Cherokees under Stand @Watie and led forces fighting Lyon's troops at Wilson's Creek. Mcculloch was killedby a sharpshooter at Pea Ridge, leading to the Confederate loss of the battle. Exceedingly rare A.D.S. 1p. 10in x 3in, Seguin, Rep. of Texas, Oct. 1, 1845 In full: "Received of Joseph Johnson as agent forThomas Cole twenty-two dollars it being the amount in hill due me forLocating and surveying two tracts of Land containing three hundred acres each.
