Wonderful illustrated A.L.S. "Your Daddy" written in block print to his young daughter Jiricek, 2pp. oblong 8vo., [New York, n.d.]. In part; "...Howdid you spend your name day? Did you count the candles on your cake? Do you know that there were half a dozen of them?...Tomorrow I will godown to town to see if there is an Indian with a bow and arrow and a tomahawk to tell him to send it to you...Didn't you forget English?...Think about your daddy just as your daddy thinks about you. Kiss from your daddy..." In the middle of the first page Mucha has added a nice touch - an ink drawing of a birthday cake sporting six candles on a doily. Folds, otherwise fine condition.
