[ Autographs ] ALLMAN BROTHERS A fine group of three partly-printed checks, all drawn on the Peoples Bank of Macon, Georgia and all labeled "The Allman Bros. Band General Account." The first check is filled-out and signed by DUANE ALLMAN and is filled out in his hand, dated Aug. 20, 1970 paying E50 to Donna Roosmann and adds in the memo "salary advance Duane". The second check is filled-out and signed by RAYMOND BERRRY OAKELY who makes out a check to Delta Airlines on Nov. 5, 1970 adding the memo "D. Betts, Charlotte - New Orleans". The thirdcheck bears the endorsement signature of GREGG ALLMAN on the verso of a check made out to him for E100 advance on July 2, 1971 and signed byroad manager William H. Perkins. The checks were originally obtained from Perkins. All the checks bear cancellation marks, only one of which only slightly affects Oakley's signature. Three pieces in fine condition.
