Capone was eventually nabbed on tax evasion charges and passed a comfortable eight years in prison. Bold pencil inscription and signature on the illustrated letterhead of his headquarters the Lexington Hotel in Chicago. In full: "To my friend Peter Marisca Al Capone" Worn at folds with a tiny fold junction hole at top of "C" in signature edges rough but easily matted out. Peter Marisca was the personal chauffeur of millionare publisher Cornelius Vanderbilt Jr., and during an interview with Vanderbilt, Marisca and Capone became friends.
