Description:

[ Autograph ] World War I Bond Drive A collection of twenty buttons from World War I bond and Red Cross drives. There is some repetition, but more than half of them differ. These were typically given out during the war to show that the individual possessing one had alreadydonated to a particular drive, thus putting more pressure on those without buttons to contribute. Illustrations include the Statue of Liberty, an eagle, and the Liberty Bell. An interesting group of wartime propaganda pieces.
