[ Autograph ] William F. Cody Fine content A.L.S. "Brother' with transmittal envelope addressed to Cody, Wyoming (thus signing his last name), 4pp. 8vo., Liverpool, May 8, 1903 to his sister Julia Goodman. Cody praises his sister and her efforts on his behalf, in part: "...I want to relieve you of so much work I have just recv suchgood news from the mine. I feel sure it won't be many months until I will have all the money all of us want, then I will make all my relations and those who have been true to me happy. And I want to help the poor and the churches and do a lot of charitable things I amstill laid up but expect to be in the saddle next week... " Wishful thinking on Cody's part; in a few short years his investments would lead him to bankruptcy. Light soiling along one fold, otherwise fine.
