[ Autograph ] Sam Houston 1793-1863 American soldier and politician, defeated Santa Anna at San Jacinto and became first president of the Republic of Texas. Beautiful bold ink signature "Sam Houston' with a fancy paraph, on a 5in x 2.5in sheet. Removed from a document, a bit closely-cut at top.
