Scarce A.L.S. on letterhead of the Paris Society of Anthropology, 1p. 8vo., Paris, May 3, 1877 in Frenchto a friend. In part: '... You are registered to give a 15 minute lecture at the Academy of medecine during our session of 15 May... ' in the postscript he adds: "...I am writing to you during an anthropology meeting, to which, I must add, our respected colleague, the emperor of Brasil, is participating...' One tiny spindle hole at top with no loss of paper, otherwise fine.
