" Langston " on his letterhead, 1p. 4to., New York, Feb. 5, 1949 to Mr. Prentiss Taylor. In part: ' '..I am about to close up my bag for a South Carolina train to begin my Negro History Week tour... During the war I did read my poems a number of times before groups of mental patients, and certainly I would be happy to do it for your group sometime... I would be delighted, too, to meet Ezra Pound, with who I had some lengthy correspondence about fifteen years ago regarding the translating of Frobenius. Please givehim my very best regards...'
