Ford 1829 -1894 American theater owner in whose theater Abraham Lincoln was mortally wounded by John Wilkes Booth on April 14, 1864 As a result of the notoriety of the crime, Ford's someer was nearly ruined. Rare D.S. "J. Ford", lp. 4to., 1886, as Commissioner of Baltimore's Baker Circle in which the city's mayor and council forward Ford a listing of work and relevant expenses on the project, including cost of labor materials, gardening watchmen, and so on. Very good.
