Truman T.L.S. lp. 4to. on very uncommon illustrated Grand Lodge of Missouri Ancient Free and Accepted Masons letterhead, Washington, Mar. 18, 1941 to Virgil Anderson of the Solomon Masonic Lodge in Springfield, Mo. Truman, a loyal and devout Mason, discusses an appearance. In part: "...it is perfectly agreeable with me for you to visit the Miami Lodge if you so desire and in the manner which you suggest you expect it would be necessary to obtain permission from the Grand Master of Oklahoma and the Grand Master of Missouri, but if you are going informally you have a perfect right to go anytime you desire..." Truman was a Grand Master Mason, any his letters with Masonic content are rare. Very good.
