In his editorial which precedes the text, Greeley comments: '...It is the beginning of the end of the rebellion the beginning of the new life of the nation. God Bless Abraham Lincoln .' Other news includes reports on the battle at Munfordsville Burnside's Bridge at Antietam, a report on a raid by J.E.B. Stuart, and much more. Fine condition.
