[ Autograph ] Charles Wakefield Cadman 1881-1946 American composer of operas and songs, most concerning Indians, including "From the Land of the Sky-Blue Water" and "Thunderbird Suite". A fine I.S.P. 10in x 8in b/w, showing the composer ca. 1920 in a casual, seated pose, full length, seated at his piano with recorder in hand. About him are some Indian instruments as well. Inscribed and signed in purple ink, which has faded just a tad. Dry mounted, otherwise fine.
