[ Autograph ] Apollo 8 Relic A fine relic of Apollo 8, the first manned flight to the Moon, a 1/2in x 1/4in swatch of mylar from the command module of the flight. The swatch is mounted on a lager, pre- printed card bearing a full description of the mission and a photo ofthe command module. Beneath the swatch is printed, in part: "...an actual piece of the flown aluminized mylar covering taken from the Apollo 8 As-503 Command Module #103 after the spacecraft returned to earth from its journey to the moon...' This ensemble was issued by The Challenger Society in an edition of only fifty pieces, of which this is #25 Actual space-flown relics are, or course, rare and highlyprized. Fine.
