Description:

[ Autograph ] A Piece Of Hitler's Desk An small fragment of marble broken from the Adolf Hitler's desk in the Reichs Chancellery in Berlin! According to the letter of provenance, an American soldier and aide at the Potsdam Conference in June, 1945 was allowed access to Hitier's office by the Russians who controlled the building at thetime. While in the office, the soldier broke-off a small piece of marble from the slab that made up the top of Hitler's desk and kept it as a souvenir. The mottled brown and tan colored marble fragment measures about 2.5in x 1in x 1in with one smoothly-polished surface. With a copy of the officer's letter of provenance and original signed certification by Charles hamilton. Certainly an interesting relic.
