In part: "...I enclosed a letter from Sir [General] William Beresford on the complaint from Lt. Drake of the 10th Regt. It appears to me to be very clear that Lt. Drake is not fit for his situation...I beg that he may be removed to another...I also request that he may be called upon to state whether he has or not employed parties of British soldiers to fire upon boats on the River...And if he has, I must bring him to trial before a general court martial...". Matted with a portrait engraving, and set into a carved wood frame. Very good condition, and a nice item for display.
