(b. 1948) Writer and cartoonist who won the Pulitzer Prize for his graphic novel, Maus, a Holocaust narrative based on his father's experience in concentration camps. His illustrated oversize volume In the Shadow of No Towers (New York: Pantheon, 2004), his tribute to and personal experience of the earth-shattering of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. Filled with Spiegelman's unique and spectacular cartooning as well as reprints of early twentieth-century strips, this board book graphically illustrates Spiegelman's feeling of loss and grief...and thus that of much of the country. Boldly signed in silver ink on the inside cover and in fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
