[ Antiquities ] Roman Glass Perfume Vial An attractive Roman glass perfume vial, about 4.5in tall, of d design used throughout the Roman Empire to hold perfume and fme oil. This example has a bulbous bottom flaring upwards and outwards to a pronounced rim 2 the top, and it bears a luminescent patina. Dating from about 200 A.D., it is completely intact. Excavated near Jerusalem.
