[ Antiquities ] Oil Lamp with Cross A fine Christian decorated oil lamp bearing a Byzantine cross on the base, ca. 450 A.D., excavated near Jerusalem. The lamp measures over 4in long with a hand molded to the body. References to crosses and Christianity in this early period are scarce. Attractive, fine for display.
