[ Antiquities ] Israelite Javelin Head An Israelite bronze javelin or arrow head with straight tang attachment about 3-4in long, dating from the time of Kings David and Solomon, about 1,000 B.C. These javelin or arrow heads were widely used by archers in the forces with King David. Excavated near Hebron, they are fine examples of ancient weaponry.
