Lot of four prewar anti-Semitic books and booklets, all written in German, many bearing racial science-related imagery. Includes: 'Rasse und Seele' ('Race and Soul') by Dr. Ludwig Ferdinand Clauss (Berlin: Buchergilde Gutenberg), 1926. 182pp. 8vo. with hundreds of b/w photographs. One of the most influential racial theorists in the Third Reich, Clauss joined the NSDAP in 1933 yet was expelled from the party in 1943 after employing a Jewish research assistant; 'Rassenkunde Europas' ('Racial Studies in Europe') by Hans Gunther (Munich: J. F. Lehmanns Verlag), 1926. 220pp. 8vo.; 'Der Kampf zwichen Juda und Japan: Japan als Vorkampfer frier Volkswirtschaft' ('The Fight between Judah and Japan: Japan as a Pioneer of the Free Economy') by Dr. Alfred Stoss (Munich: Ludenforffs Verlag), 1934. 49pp. 8vo. Bears a fold-out map of Japanese trade routes, affixed on the back pastedown; and 'Rassensonderung, Rassenmischung, Rassenwandlung' ('Racial Segregation, Racial Mix, Racial Change') by Friedrich Merkenschlager (Berlin: Waldemar Hoffmann Verlag), 1933. 63pp. 8vo. Bears multiple racial science-related images of the various races, as well as a fold-out world map showing 'the divisions' of the world's 'seven races'. Very good condition.
