Description:

ANTI-SEMITIC ‘THE JEW REFUGEE' BOOKLET
Incredible anti-Semitic World War II-era booklet, ‘The Jew Refugee Invasion of America Through Immigration and What To Do About It', 98pp. oblong 8vo., no publishing details but clearly printed in the U.S. ca. late 1930s. The booklet is filled with quotes from influential historical figures, in which they condemn the Jewish people. They include: Benjamin Franklin, Henry Ford, Peter the Great, Maria Theresa, Prince Otto von Bismarck, Charles Lindbergh, James Garfield, Pope Clement VIII, and even Jesus Christ (!). Following these quotes is a section titled: ‘What the Jews Say About Themselves', with subsections such as: ‘Jews enemies of Christianity', ‘Jews rule thru [sic] political control', ‘Jews dream of world domination', ‘Jews control of finance and press', and much more. The next section is a timeline listing the troubles the Jewish people have brought about, beginning with the fall of Jerusalem, with the last entry being in 1897. More anti-Semitic content ensues, resulting in the summation that all efforts in America to restrict or completely stop immigration has failed. The last few pages consist of petitions to Congress to ‘stop the entry into this country of Jew refugees and aliens who will take the business and jobs of American citizens'. The back cover reads: ‘In America-By Americans-For American Purposes'.
