Lot of four items related to Anne Frank, includes postal and first day covers signed by MIEP GIES, one of the Dutch citizens who hid Anne Frank, her family and four other Jews from the Nazis in an annex above Anne's father's business premises, HANNAH GOSLAR (b. 1928), a friend of Anne's who attended the same school and then the Jewish Lyceum, signed in English and Hebrew; and JACQUELINE VAN MAARSEN (b. 1929), another friend of Anne's. Her mother was able to remove the "J" from their family's identity cards making it possible for them to flee the country. With EVA SCHLOSS (b. 1929), step-sister of Anne Frank who survived internment at Auschwitz, a signed paperback copy of her memoir Eva's Story, 2011. Four pieces.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arrange through the auction house.
